Important!
If you are not a US citizen, and you do not currently have any visa status in the US, please make sure to apply for a US visa immediately. The Summer School neither constitutes vocational or language training, nor do any of the classes count towards an earned degree. Therefore the Summer School cannot sponsor student visas (F1-VISAs). When attending the IEEE Summer School on Semantic Computing, the purpose for your travel is to attend a scientific/educational convention for the time period of six days. Therefore we recommend applying for a B1 visa (business visitor less than 90 days).
